Academic Innovation & Distance Education (AIDE) is the office that manages “Moodle” - Bunker Hill Community College’s Learning Management System. All classes at Bunker Hill have a Moodle class site where your instructor may post.

AIDE Student Resources - COVID-19
As we continue with remote classes for the semester, many instructors will be using digital platforms for teaching and learning.
- It is very important to communicate with your instructor and stay up-to-date on how they plan to teach the course and their expectations for you.
- It is up to you - as the student - to regularly check your BHCC email to find out if your classes will be held online at the same time you would be meeting in-person, or if you can complete your course work at your own pace.
- In order to engage in distance learning, you may need reliable, high speed internet service. Learn what to do if your Internet is slow.

Distance Education at Bunker Hill Community College
There are many different types of courses you can take at BHCC. Our WEB courses are fully online courses - they do not meet on campus at any time. Our REMOTE courses often use video conferencing and range from some on campus class sessions to fully virtual options. No matter what type of course you are taking, you should plan to begin your journey using Bunker Hill’s Moodle Learning Management System.

If you are wondering how to find information for courses that you are already enrolled in - please check your course schedule to see the TYPE of course for each of your classes. You can find out more about the different types of classes at Course Delivery. This will help you to know if you need to meet your class in a video-conference session.
Your course instructor will let you know about how to access your course information either by posting that information to your Moodle class site or by sending you an email to your BHCC email account.
Moodle class sites are available to you on the first day of your class. Check your schedule in Self-Service to find the start-date of your courses.
Online Learning Resource Center
After you enroll for classes you will have access to the Online Student Resource Center in Moodle (SRC). The SRC offers resources and activities to support your digital learning experience at BHCC. You can practice using Moodle, view tutorials in our “How-to” library and much more. Login to Moodle using your BHCC email address and password.
