Join us as we welcome back facilitator, author and multi-hyphenated creative Julia Mallory to the BHCC community as she explores these timely questions for our Juneteenth celebration – What can we learn from when the first Juneteenth was commemorated over 150 years ago? How might an exploration of those early fragile freedoms inform our perseverance and pursuit of justice in these extraordinary times?
A reading of the presenter's annual Juneteenth Affirmations will follow the discussion.
