English Study for Au Pairs

Vaccination is required for all Fall 2022 on campus classes. Please email your Vaccination card to ssha4746@bhcc.edu before class start.

Are you an Au Pair who wants to improve your English skills? Then this course is for you!

In the English Study for Au Pairs courses, classes run two days per week (Saturday and Sunday) for seven weeks. Class each day runs for six hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will receive 12 hours of classroom instruction per week. By the end of seven weeks, you will receive 84 hours of instruction.

As an Au Pair, you are required to complete six credits, or 72 hours of instruction. Because classes are 84 hours, there are two extra days, or 12 hours, built-in so that you can still complete the course if you need to miss two days.

**Please note that all classes will be remote. During the COVID-19 crisis, au pairs may complete their educational requirement through online coursework. For more information on this change in policy, please reach out to your agency.
