Vaccine and Mask Requirements
In accordance with the College’s mask policy announced on May 24, the College will only require masks when the CDC level is high. Effective immediately, masks will be optional on all BHCC campuses, and our campuses will remain mask friendly.
Yes, there are masks available at entrances, classrooms and service areas, and other high-traffic areas.
Vaccination is required for all Spring 2022, Summer 2022, and Fall 2022 on-campus classes and for any student coming to campus to access services.

Students seeking a medical or religious accommodation may request an accommodation. Accommodations are not guaranteed. Personal and philosophical reasons for not getting vaccinated are insufficient, and requests of this nature will be denied. Students who are approved for a Reasonable Accommodation from the vaccine requirement will need to submit regular negative COVID-19 test results to participate in class or activities. Voluntary COVID Testing will be available for vaccinated BHCC Students who will be on campus during the Spring 2022 term.
Members of the College community are encouraged to be vaccinated whether they are on campus or participating online. Vaccination is required for faculty and staff who will be on-campus by January 2022.

Campus and Classroom Operations and Access
Proof of vaccination will be required to enter the building beginning Monday, January 24. In order to expediate the process, faculty and staff already cleared by HR can use their BHCC ID to swipe at entrances. To obtain a BHCC ID card, please login to Atrium Campus Student Link using your BHCCselfservice login credentials. Once logged in, click on Upload Your Photo in the gray menu on the left side of the screen. Follow the instructions, keeping the acceptable photo guidelines in mind. You will receive an email once your BHCC student ID card is ready for pick up. In the email, you will also receive a link to book an appointment for pick-up. Vaccine cards, photos of vaccine cards, or the state’s myvaxrecords card are also accepted at point of entry.

Outdoor seating is available on the Main Plaza, G Plaza (ground floor), and G Plaza (2nd floor Brick Plaza near the BHCC topiary).
Yes, water fillers and fountains are available.
Yes, the bookstore is open on campus and also virtually. Online orders are encouraged.
If space and weather are agreeable, faculty are welcome to conduct in-person classes outside on BHCC campus grounds. Please note, current mask requirements for the City of Boston and Bunker Hill Community College are for indoors only. Faculty conducting outside courses should encourage students to social distance and welcome students to keep their masks on if they choose.
