Dear Members of the Bunker Hill Community College Family, In the aftermath of the fatal violence in Charlottesville, VA, and in anticipation of the demonstrations in Boston this weekend, I am reaching out to you in peace and in the spirit of community. The Fifth Annual Museum of African American History (MAAH) Summer Institute, held August 16-18, 2017, brought together Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) faculty for an in-depth introduction to Boston’s MAAH and its historic sites, presentations by renowned scholars of African American History and pedagogical workshops designed to help educators translate this rich historical content into curriculum units, lesson plans and classroom use for their students.

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is pleased to be one of ten campuses across eight states to welcome international exchange participants to campus for the 2017-2018 academic year as part of the Community College Initiative (CCI) Program. The students will study Early Childhood Education, Fire and Safety and Entrepreneurship.
