This unique, exciting, and affordable program has been designed exclusively for au pairs working in the U.S. to help them gain the most from their American experience. All Au Pair Weekend courses satisfy the U.S. Department of State au pair educational requirement.
Through a fun and engaging combination of classroom discussions, field trips, community engagement, and other activities, au pairs will learn important skills for dealing with the cultural and personal challenges that international visitors in the U.S. often face. These courses assist students through a number of valuable learning opportunities designed to help them enjoy and make the most of their time abroad.
Au pairs may choose from an online, self-paced format or a live, in-person weekend format. Online and In-person courses are also offered in both 36-hour and 72-hour options to support student flexibility and learning styles.
Specific course topics include Discover the U.S., Connect in the U.S., Arts & Entertainment, English, and Explore our Environment. Specific locations where au pairs can enjoy an in-person experience include Boston, Chicago, Denver, LA, Miami, New York City, San Antonio, San Diego, and San Francisco.
