VA Education Benefits

Students planning on using education benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs are encouraged to review https://www.vets.gov/ and https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/ for information on selecting the right benefits program for their educational goal.

Students may also call the GI Bill® Hotline at 1-888-442-4551 for more information on eligibility, benefit program options, and benefit application status.

New students are required to visit the Veterans Center at BHCC if they plan to utilize VA education benefits

All students must supply a copy of their schedule for each term in which they are requesting to be certified to the BHCC Veterans Center, B234B, VCenter@bhcc.edu.

Massachusetts Army and Air Force National Guard Tuition and Fee Program

Current Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard members may be eligible for the Tuition and Fee Reimbursement program. Students currently serving in a Massachusetts unit should verify their eligibility with their education POC. If a student meets the eligibility requirements they can complete an application at https://www.mass.edu/forstufam/veterans/financialaid.asp.

Once the form has been submitted to the state please watch your military email account for a decision regarding your request. If approved, please print the “Certificate of Eligibility” and turn it into the BHCC Veterans Center, B206 for processing.
