BHCC offers TEAS prep courses through the Community Education Department.
ATI also sells a variety of prep resources available to help you study for the test, including practice tests.
Remote (at-home) testing
What software is required for remote (at home) testing?
BHCC online test sessions use Respondus Lockdown Browser. View the technical requirements for Respondus
Note: ATI does not consider technical issues on the tester’s computer or Internet to be a valid reason for a refund or free reschedule exception. Please make sure all technical requirements are met before the start time of the assessment and use the Dry-Run assessment if necessary to test your system.
What are the room requirements for a remote (at-home) TEAS exam?
- Approach your online exam like you would any in-person exam on campus.
- Complete your Dry Run to ensure all of your hardware, the lockdown browser, and your internet connection is working properly before your actual test day. Note: ATI does not consider technical issues on the tester’s computer or Internet to be a valid reason for a refund or free reschedule exception. Please make sure all technical requirements are met before the start time of the assessment and use the Dry-Run assessment if necessary to test your system.
- Be sure to take the dry run in the same location where you plan to take the proctored version of the TEAS Exam.
- Try sitting at a kitchen, coffee, or dining table with suitable natural or artificial light and a blank wall behind you.
- If your camera is having trouble picking up your image, it is likely a lighting or a background issue.
- Any non-testing accessories (tissue, drink, etc.) or objects other than scratch paper should not be present in the testing area unless necessary. Any use of these accessories may be reported as an irregularity.
- For more information about scratch paper, click here.
- For more information on room requirements click here.
Are bathroom breaks allowed during the remote (at-home) exam?
You may take an optional 10-minute bathroom break upon completion of the math section of the TEAS. At that time, you may not access any personal items including cell phones, notes, manuals, etc. Any excessive time taken away from your seat will result in a flag and may result in a formal review of your exam.
Do I need to have my own calculator?
A drop-down calculator is built into the exam and can be used throughout the entire TEAS exam. A personal calculator is not allowed during the TEAS exam.
Reports and Transcripts
When will I get my results?
Upon completion of the ATI TEAS test, your test will be scored immediately, allowing you to view your ATI TEAS score report under the MY RESULTS tab in your ATI Account.
How do I send my TEAS transcript?
TEAS Online at Institution Exams: Your transcript is automatically sent to the school/location that is administering your TEAS exam. Transcripts are sent electronically to this school/testing center within 2 hours of completion of the TEAS exam. If you are applying to more than one school, you will need to purchase additional transcripts or transcript credits for those submissions. Additional transcripts are $29.99. Click here for additional information.
