Academic Support and College Pathway Programs
The Division of Academic Support and College Pathway Programs (ASCPP) provides effective, dynamic and student-centered services designed to guide and support the process of achieving academic and personal success. ASCPP strives to achieve this through three primary avenues: Academic support services, Individualized learning opportunities and College pathway programs.
Behavioral, Social Sciences & Global Learning
Whatever your educational and career plans, you will almost assuredly be working with faculty and staff from this division. Today’s social, political and economic climates require each of us to be literate quantitatively, civically and interpersonally. Our division houses disciplines required for most degree plans and certificates.
Health Sciences
The Division prepares students for employment as well as transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The division offers a broad array of courses geared to in-demand health careers. Faculty members hold advanced degrees and/or extensive credentials in their fields.
Humanities and Learning Communities
The Humanities are the cornerstone of a college education, providing students with the knowledge, skills and habits of mind to adapt to any pathway in their educations, careers and lives. A degree in the Humanities prepares students to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, make connections across disciplines, and apply classroom learning to local and global challenges.

An innovative, leading edge Division, which prepares you for success in 21st Century careers. The Division houses seven academic departments.
Science, Engineering and Mathematics Programs
The Division has several Departments: Medical Laboratory Technician, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Biology and Chemistry, Mathematics and STEM Starter Academy.
Workforce and Economic Development
The Division of Workforce and Economic Development responds to the needs of the employers and community members through meaningful engagement and workforce collaboration to design and deliver non traditional educational pathways. BHCC leverages expertise, resources and a commitment to success to provide education and training to employers, community agencies, students and the community-at-large that support personal growth and professional advancement.
