Vaccine and Mask Requirements

Will students/staff/faculty be required to wear masks?

In accordance with the College’s mask policy, the College will only require masks when the CDC level is high.

BHCC Campuses are Mask-optional

Each week, an update on COVID-19 levels is reported on the CDC website. As of January 12, 2023, the CDC COVID-19 Community Level for Suffolk County (Boston, MA) is MEDIUM.

Can the College provide masks if staff/students enter without one?

Yes, there are masks available at the main entrance upon request.

Will vaccines be mandated for students?

No, the COVID-19 restrictions for on campus courses have been lifted for summer and fall 2023 enrollment. Learn more.

Will testing be mandatory for students who come to campus?

Students approved for a Reasonable Accommodation from the vaccine requirement must submit regular negative COVID-19 test results to participate in class or activities.
