New Senior Appointments at Bunker Hill Community College

Bunker Hill Community has made three new Senior Appointments at the College, BHCC President Mary L. Fifield announced this week.
Dr. James F. Canniff has been appointed Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Services. Canniff holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an M.A. in Urban Studies from Howard University and a B. A. from Catholic University. Prior to his arrival at BHCC, Canniff was the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Suffolk County Community College in Seldon, NY. During his 25-year career at Suffolk County Community College, he also served as the Vice President for Academic and Campus Affairs and Dean of Instruction/Chief Academic Officer for the College's Brentwood campus.
Paul Wolff III has been appointed Bunker Hill Community College's first Director of Sustainability. Wolff holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Towson University and an M.A. in Architecture from Harvard University. Prior to joining Bunker Hill Community College, he was the Director of Sustainability and Energy Management at Mount Wachusett Community College, also in Massachusetts. His prior positions include: Sustainable Design Research Architect for Sasaki Associates and the Green Building Technical School Outreach Program Manager for the Conservation Services Group. He is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and has received training as a Certified Energy Manager.
Thomas L. Saltonstall has been appointed BHCC's Acting Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Mr. Saltonstall has an M.P.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Harvard College. He has been involved in workplace diversity and affirmative action work for more than 30 years. Saltonstall served as the Director of the Boston area office of the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission. He has extensive experience in conflict resolution including serving as staff mediator and trainer at the American Arbitration Association. He has received many awards for his work in affirmative action and his commitment to civil rights, including: an award for "Civil Rights Leadership" from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination; an award from the Greater Boston Civil Rights Coalition for "leadership and commitment to civil rights" and an award from the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations for "contributions to intercultural and race relations in Massachusetts." He currently serves on the Governor's Advisory Board to the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
