NPR’s Michele Norris on The Race Card Project

As part of Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC)’s Black History Month Celebration, NPR Journalist Michele Norris spoke on Thursday, February 8, 2018, on her motivations behind creating The Race Card Project.

Launched in 2010, The Race Card Project has encouraged more than 250,000 people from around the world to submit their personal one-sentence observations and experiences with race and cultural identity. Prior to the presentation, Norris enjoyed lunch in the Culinary Arts Dining Room and discussed the importance of media literacy with students studying English and Journalism at BHCC.
