President Eddinger Testifies at Ways and Means Subcommittee Hearing in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) President Pam Eddinger, Ph.D., testified at the Ways and Means subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures hearing in Washington, D.C., on how middle class families are faring in today’s economy.
The hearing coincided with the Association of Community College Trustees 2019 Community College National Legislative Summit that kicked off Monday.
Witnesses included Mark Zandi, Ph.D., Chief Economist, Moody’s Analytics; Heather Boushey, Ph.D.; Executive Director and Chief Economist, Washington Center for Equitable Growth; Sara R. Collins, Ph.D., Vice President of Health Care Coverage and Access, Commonwealth Fund; Kevin Brown, Former President, California Association of Realtors; Tatum Tirado, Mathematics and Special Education Teacher, Ballou High School; and Guy Berkebile, Owner, Guy Chemical Company.
