Thursday, November 7, 2019
Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) will host a Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) Information Session that will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, 9:30-11:30 a.m., at BHCC’s Charlestown Campus.
Administered by the Commonwealth Corporation on behalf of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, WTFP helps address business productivity and competitiveness by providing resources to Massachusetts businesses to fund and develop customized training for current and newly hired employees and assist in the application process from start to finish.
Led by WTFP Outreach Manager Kristen Rayne, the information session will provide an overview of the features and requirements, funding availability, and application process of WTFP programs: General Program; Express Program; and Small Business Direct Program.
Local employers and those interested in WTFP training resources are encouraged to attend. Following the information sessions, assistance will be provided to attendees to determine which grants are best suited for their business needs and how to start the application process.
