Project Bread Honors Pam Eddinger for Social Justice Work

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) President Pam Eddinger was named the inaugural recipient of the Patrick Hughes Award for Social Justice by Massachusetts’ leading antihunger organization Project Break for her leadership in addressing food insecurity, an issue impacting 56% of the College’s students.

The award recognizes an individual with an unyielding commitment to driving meaningful change by addressing the causes of hunger, thus carrying forward the spirit of Hughes’ legacy who founded the organization’s Walk for Hunger in 1969.
