Watch Live: President Eddinger to Appear on WGBH Segments

On Friday, May 1, Bunker Hill Community College President Pam Eddinger will appear on WGBH-TV’s (Channel 2, Boston) public affairs program “Basic Black” for a special segment on the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on community college students.

On Monday, May 4, President Eddinger will moderate a virtual panel discussion as part of WORLD and WGBH’s Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration spotlighting selections from the groundbreaking PBS film series Asian Americans, chronicling the contributions and challenges of Asian Americans.

The virtual screening and discussion will take place on Monday, May 4, 7-8:30 p.m. Panelists will include S. Leo Chiang, producer of Asian Americans; Renee Tajima-Peña, series producer of Asian Americans; and Winifred C. Chin, Co-author, Paper Son, One Man's Story.

Premiering May 11 and 12 on WGBH and PBS, Asian Americans looks at ways in which the Asian experience illuminates the larger American story and explores the role Asian Americans have played in the evolution of the American identity, in the context of migration, diversity and global connectedness.
