Bunker Hill Community College to Offer Courses as Part of Amazon’s Small Business Academy

Amazon has selected Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) as one of the six colleges in the country to offer the Amazon Small Business training opportunity. Amazon Small Business Academy helps entrepreneurs gain digital strategy and brand-building skills to make their ambitions reality, through free seminars, webinars, and well as community college classes across the country.

BHCC will offer three affordable, online-based non-credit classes for a total of 16 hours of instruction over eight weeks. Classes will be held via video conferencing platform, WebEx on Wednesday evenings, starting June 3. Small business owners, students, or those interested in starting a small business will have the opportunity to learn strategies to build and grow their small businesses. The classes will cover the fundamentals of online business strategies, marketing, merchandising, inventory management, and more.

The pricing structure for classes is as follows:

Beginner Module, two sessions - $39
Intermediate Module, three sessions - $55
Advanced Module, three sessions - $55
All three Modules together, eight sessions - $89
