VA Education Benefits

Students planning on using education benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs are encouraged to review https://www.va.gov/education/ for eligibility information, help selecting the right benefit for their educational goal, and applications for their benefits

Students may also call the GI Bill® Hotline at 1-888-442-4551 for more information on eligibility, benefit program options, and benefit application status.

New students are required to visit the Veterans Center at BHCC if they plan to utilize VA education benefits

All students must supply a copy of their schedule for each term in which they are requesting to be certified to the BHCC Veterans Center,  N-116, VCenter@bhcc.edu.

Massachusetts Army and Air Force National Guard Tuition and Fee Waiver

Current Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard members are eligible for the Massachusetts State Tuition and Fee Waiver. Students currently serving in a Massachusetts unit should verify their eligibility with their education POC. If a student meets the eligibility requirements they can complete an application. Once the application has been submitted to the state please monitor your email and this website for a decision regarding your request. If approved, please print the “Certificate of Eligibility” and turn it into the BHCC Veterans Center, E234B for processing.

V.E.T. Student Liaisons: Veterans Education Transition (VET) Liaisons are current Student-Veterans or eligible dependents that assist in monitoring our Veterans Center. They can assist with general questions relating to the college.
