Global Graduates

On Friday, May 18, 2018, 12 students from seven countries celebrated the culmination of a year of hard work at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), along with a gathering of their faculty, BHCC staff, host parents and well-wishers. The students came to Boston from countries as far-flung as Columbia, Dominican Republic, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and South Africa.

On Thursday, June 21, 2018, the Baker-Polito Administration awarded $10.9 million in Skills Capital Grants to 33 high schools and educational institutions at an event at Salem High School. Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) received $135,393 in grant funding to enhance its Paramedic Studies and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) programs.

BHCC Celebrates Adult Education and Transition Program Graduates

On Saturday, June 23, 2018, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) celebrated students who completed the Transitions to College, GED in Spanish and English and Level IV English Basic Skills programs at an event at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Chelsea, MA. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the Adult Education and Transitions initiative, which is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
