About Jumpstart
Jumpstart is a national early education program that partners college students with preschool children from under-resourced communities. Through this program, you’ll help improve early literacy, language, and social-emotional skills in children, setting them up for success in school and life.

What’s the Commitment?
- Service Hours: Approximately 13-16 hours per week from October to May.
- Training: Attend regular training sessions to support your development.
- Team Meetings & Classroom Service: Work closely with your team to plan and deliver effective learning activities.
Eligibility
- Be at least 17 years old with High School Diploma or equivalent
- have valid government identification
- available for approximately 13-16 hours a week Monday-Friday
